Kingston men charged with stealing power tools from Depot

POUGHKEEPSIE – Two Kingston men have been arrested following the theft of $2,378 worth of power tools from the Home Depot store at 3470 North Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

The men allegedly stole the equipment around 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8.

The suspects, identified as John Zehnick, 33, and Ross Jones, 38, had fled the store by the time police arrived, but a short time later, town police located the vehicle and suspects on North Road.

The stolen merchandise was also in the vehicle.

Both men were charged with grand larceny as a felony and released on appearance tickets pending a future court appearance.
