TOWN OF WALLKILL – Two accidents Monday morning virtually across from one another on Route 17 near exit 119 in Circleville shut down the highway in both directions for some time.

A tractor-trailer rolled over at the exit 119 east ramp in the Town of Wallkill. It was reported to be leaking diesel fuel and anti-freeze. The truck was carrying crushed stone, which spilled out onto the roadway.

The driver refused medical attention, State Police said.

A short time later, a second accident occurred at the same location, but on the westbound side of the highway. Troopers reported serious entrapment.
