Two charged, including Orange County woman, after PA drug raid

MILFORD, PA – Two individuals have been arrested following a warrant search in a hotel room in Westfall Township, Pennsylvania. Susan Beam, 42, of Wallkill and Kyle Conklin, 27, of Westfall Township, were charged with possession of a controlled substance – heroin – with intent to deliver, and criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, both as felonies.

Conklin was also charged with a violation of his parole and remanded to the Pike County Correctional Facility.

Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin said Beam was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

According to the criminal charges, investigators located over 120 bags of suspected heroin, $237 in cash and drug paraphernalia in the hotel room.

Taking part in the investigation and service of the search warrant were the Pike County DA’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police at Blooming Grove, and the Pennsylvania State Police vice unit.
