Per town law, the comprehensive plan should be periodically reviewed and updated. Now that it has been over 12 years since the town’s last comprehensive plan was adopted, and much has changed within the town, a Comprehensive Plan Review Committee has been appointed by the town board.

The committee, along with town staff, a planning and design consultant team from Nelson, Pope, & Voorhis, LLC, and input from the public, will work together to update the existing 2007 town plan.

The comprehensive plan will evaluate existing conditions, lay out a vision for the future of the town, and provide policy recommendations to direct action toward achieving that vision.

The CPRC has also developed a public survey which may be accessed by utilizing the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PlanPK .
