MONTICELLO – Village Police in Monticello are investigating a shooting that occurred at about 1:45 p.m. on Friday in the area of Forestburgh Road and West Broadway.
A 22-year-old Monticello man sustained gunshot wounds to a hand and leg.
The victim sought assistance by going into a business on Forestburgh Road to report being shot. He was transported by private vehicle to Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris before police arrived on the scene.

Village Police are being assisted by State Police BCI and the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office.
