Grey Towers in Milford, PA.

MILFORD, PA – For the first time in more than 20 years, Grey Towers National Historic Site in Milford, Pennsylvania, won’t be opening the mansion doors for public tours on Memorial Day weekend. All June public events and programs, including lectures and musical performances, are canceled or postponed to a later date.

In alignment with current Federal, State, and local guidance for social distancing and to ensure the health and safety of its employees, visitors, and volunteers, Grey Towers will postpone the seasonal opening of mansion tours and cancel or postpone all June programs.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, continues to assess its public programs and access to public sites. Grey Towers will implement safety measures and health precautions as re-opening occurs.

The grounds have been open to pedestrians throughout the COVID crisis, providing a peaceful and inspirational location for people to walk, get some fresh air, and enjoy the landscape. Visitors who opt to stroll the grounds are urged to follow all CDC guidelines, including social distancing, wearing a mask, and other precautions. No restroom facilities are available at this time.

Please check the website at www.greytowers.org or call 570-296-9630 when planning a visit to confirm schedules and programs. Rapidly changing conditions could warrant further and unplanned changes, cancellations, and postponements.
