Hudson Valley airports to receive over $30 million in federal stimulus money

WASHINGTON – The FAA reported on Tuesday that airports large and small in the Hudson Valley will receive a total of $30.3 million in stimulus money as part of the federal CARES Act approved in Washington late last month.

The funds will be used for enhanced unemployment benefits and pandemic unemployment assistance for New Yorkers.

The airports, in alphabetic order, are:

  • Joseph Y Resnick in Ellenville… $30,000
  • Columbia County in Hudson … $69,000
  • Kingston-Ulster in Town of Ulster… $1,000
  • Randall Airport in Town of Wallkill… $1,000
  • Sky Acres in Millbrook … $69,000
  • Orange County in Montgomery … $69,000
  • Sullivan County International in Bethel … $30,000
  • New York Stewart International in Newburgh … $6.44 million
  • Hudson Valley Regional in Wappinger … $30,000
  • Warwick Municipal in Warwick … $30,000
  • Westchester County in White Plains … $23.6 million
  • Wurtsboro-Sullivan County in Wurtsboro … $1,000
