CORNWALL – State Senator James Skoufis (D, Woodbury) and his staff volunteered on Friday at the Hudson Valley Food Bank to support food pantries across his district. The team will volunteer weekly at the food bank during the duration of the pandemic.
“We want to continue to have a real impact in our community, so a number of us will be volunteering at the Food Bank every Friday morning moving forward,” the senator said.
“During times like this “our communities are depending on us now more than ever,” said Paul Stermer, food bank director. “I encourage those who can, to reach out about volunteering with us.”
