WHITE PLAINS – New Rochelle resident Daniel Flores Arteaga has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly trying to kill his mother.
On March 17 at about 1:30 p.m., New Rochelle Police responded to a residence on Second Street on a call of a son attacking his mother. Police found Arteaga at the scene and his mother badly injured, unconscious on the floor. Police believe he strangled his mother until she was unconscious.
She was rushed to the hospital where she remains on life support, the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office said.
