HYDE PARK – The Hyde Park School District has sent out a notice to parents and staff outlining the district’s plans to stem the spread of the Coronavirus.

On Wednesday morning Superintendent Dr. Greer Rychcik issued a statement “postponing all events of large gatherings” including a scheduled basketball game with the Harlem Wizards, the various Spring Musicals, as well as all out-of-state field trips that “would bring our students to large gatherings,” said the superintendent.

The district also laid out their updated cleaning protocols in which custodians and facilities staff will be using bleach-based solutions.  Due to labor regulations, the cleaning staff will be required to wear masks, gloves, and goggles while cleaning and disinfecting the buildings.
