RED HOOK – The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) of Dutchess County and the Dutchess County Animal Response Team (DCART) are offering a free pet first-aid class in Red Hook.
The March 19 event will feature Dr. Paul McNamara, Chief of Surgery at Hudson Highlands Veterinary Group. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn valuable life-saving skills that might be needed for their pets. Pet CPR, heatstroke, hypothermia, wound care, and other vital topics will be covered.
The class is being held at the Red Hook Firehouse, 42 Firehouse Lane, from 6 pm to 8 pm on March 19. Registration can be done by emailing jryan@dutchessny.gov.
