MONTICELLO – Sullivan County Manager Joshua Potosek announced the promotions of two county employees to top-level posts in county government.

Michelle Huck, most recently executive assistant to the county manager, has been named assistant county manager.

She has been with the county since 2002, initially working for the legislature. Since 2017, she has been the HIPAA privacy officer, a position she will retain, and will also serve as the county’s corporate compliance officer.

Stephanie Brown, who most recently was assistant county manager, has been named commissioner of the Division of Health and Family Services. She is a registered nurse.

She replaces Joseph Todora, who announced his retirement this week after serving with the county for 32 years. Last week, the county said he was on paid administrative leave.
