POUGHKEEPSIE – A City of Poughkeepsie man was arrested following a burglary at a Vassar College townhouse on Brewers Lane minutes into Wednesday, February 19.
Poughkeepsie Town Police received a call from a Vassar student reporting a burglary in progress at an occupied townhouse.
Officers responded and obtained a description of the suspect, who was located in the area, detained and identified as 30-year-old Franz Brandon, Jr.
He was charged with felony burglary, a misdemeanor of petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket pending a future court appearance.
Town Police were assisted at the scene by City of Poughkeepsie Police.
