Catskill woman arrested on drug charges after Thruway stop

ALBANY – A Catskill woman has been arrested by State Police following a vehicle and traffic stop on the Thruway in the City of Albany on Friday night, February 14.

While interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established.  The driver, Jasmine Curry, 28, of Catskill, was found to be in possession of approximately 22.6 grams of ecstasy pills. 

She was taken into custody, transported, and processed at State Police Albany where she was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, both as felonies.

Curry was arraigned before the City of Albany Court where she was released, to return on a later date.
