WHITE PLAINS – Some 300 supporters joined local officials on Sunday to open the Mike Bloomberg 2020’s first field office in White Plains. Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and Pound Ridge Town Supervisor Kevin Hansan were in attendance.

“When it comes to supporting our communities, I know Mike Bloomberg will get it done,” said Spano. “Americans need a candidate who recognizes their potential and Mike has an all-in economy plan that will give them the opportunity to thrive in good local jobs.”

Spano said as president, Bloomberg “will prioritize modernizing job training to provide valuable skills needed for income growth. We need that investment in every corner of the country and I know Mike is the candidate that will put America to work.”

Marie Delus, a Moms Demand Action leader and Marine Corps veteran, attended the event.

“We didn’t start winning the fight against gun violence until Mike Bloomberg brought Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Moms Demand Action together to form Everytown for Gun Safety. Now we’re winning in statehouses across the country.”
