KINGSTON – The morning after the Kingston Common Council approved the city’s 2020 budget, Mayor Steven Noble signed the $44.46 million spending plan on Wednesday.

The budget, which holds the line of the tax levy for the fifth straight year, is a reflection of the growth of the city, Noble said. “We have identified that the City of Kingston has all the right pieces to be a successful community. We have great people living here. We have some really wonderful businesses that have expanded or have moved here as well as some really great opportunities to continue to expand,” he said.

The budget includes property tax rate declines for most residents and businesses.
