TOWN OF WALLKILL – A man died Tuesday afternoon when he was repairing a roof in the Town of Wallkill and fell through it onto a truck below.
Town of Wallkill Police said the man, whose name they did not release, was found on the garage floor at 490 East Main Street at 1:43 p.m.
The investigation determined he suffered serious injuries when he fell through the roof.
He was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center by Town of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps where he was pronounced dead.
Wallkill detectives are continuing to investigate the accident with the assistance of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
