Man charged with slashing three tires

NYACK – A Nanuet man has been arrested in connection with a dispute that resulted in three tires being slashed.

Orangetown Police were called to the area of 160 North Midland Avenue in the Village of Nyack where they located a 2004 Nissan Altima with three slashed tires.

It is alleged by the victims that Leonard Williams, 25, of Nanuet menaced two people with a knife and then punctured three tires on one of the victim’s car.

Police searched the area and located Williams, who was taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with the felony of criminal mischief and misdemeanors of menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
