Latest Newburgh shooting victim in critical condition, police say

NEWBURGH – A shooting in the area of 143 North Miller Street in the City of Newburgh Tuesday has sent a 26-year-old Newburgh man to Westchester Medical Center in critical condition.

City Police were alerted by a Shot Spotter activation at 7:48 p.m. The victim, Jordan Myles, was taken by private vehicle to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for treatment of wounds to his hip and neck. He was subsequently transferred to the Valhalla hospital.

The investigation is being handled by the city PD’s Non-Fatal Shooting task force. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 845-561-3131.
