NEWBURGH – Orange County will be holding an inaugural Hudson Valley Tech Festival on October 11 and 12 in Newburgh.

The event will be held at the SUNY Orange Newburgh Campus Kaplan Hall and will be held in conjunction with Open Hub.

“This innovative seminar will utilize growing regional technology, which has spurred economic development, to strengthen the professional relationships among a very diverse group,” said County Executive Steven Neuhaus.

It will benefit employers, professionals, recent graduates, and current students,” he said. “Our goal is to showcase local technology, businesses and talents to facilitate job creation.”

Open Hub is a technology resource center in the Hudson Valley. It provides support to a growing network of techies in the region who are inspired to work together through collaboration, sharing resources, knowledge and opportunities.

“The ‘regional’ tech market is burgeoning and ripe for a gathering such as this festival,” said Open Hub President and founder Yulia Ovchinnikova, PhD.
