MONTICELLO – An outreach to rabbis is paying off in minimizing concerns of a measles issue with the thousands of summer campers now in Sullivan County.
Public Health Director Nancy McGraw told the county legislature’s Health and Family Services Committee on Thursday that this has been a coordinated effort among all parties.
“We had an annual camp meeting in partnership with the New York State Health Department district office July 3rd with the Jewish Camp Association,” she said.
McGraw said following that meeting, and with ongoing communication, she believes the camps are in good shape.
