CORNWALL – Town of Cornwall Police are investigating the abuse and death of a dog.
Chief Todd Hazard said on Monday a young female bulldog was found dead off a remote section of Long Hill Road in the town. Inspection of the dog revealed it was intentionally shot by a large caliber handgun.
Anyone with information about the dog’s owner or the abusers is asked to call 845-534-8100 and ask for Police Officer Thompson. All calls will be kept confidential.
