MONTICELLO – Public Works supervisors in Sullivan County Government represented by Teamsters Local 445 have a new contract.
The union ratified the contract earlier this week. The county legislature approved it unanimous at their monthly meeting Thursday morning.
County Human Resources Director Lynda Levine said the agreement is in line with what members of the Laborers International Union unit are getting.
“This addresses compensation for members in that unit. There are about 13 or 14 members of the unit. The increases are very much in line with the LIU agreement.”
Levine said the four-year contract runs through December 2021. Members will get two percent for 2018, 2019 and 2020 and two and a half percent for 2021.
