Homeless Outreach: Community partnerships working together to improve lives

PORT JERVIS – A committed team of outreach workers from Honor Emergency Housing Group of Orange County, Vet 2 Vet Outreach Services of the Mental Health Association of Orange County, Supportive Services for Veteran Families from WestCop, Empowering Port Jervis, the Tri-State Area Interfaith Council Warming Center and the Port Jervis Police Department worked together for several hours today checking various locations throughout the City of Port Jervis during the morning and afternoon hours to connect with our homeless residents to provide support, food and connect our residents with the excellent services our partner organizations provide to assist those in need of housing.
