Dems endorse DeStefano for another term as Middletown mayor

MIDDLETOWN – The Middletown City Democratic Committee has endorsed Mayor Joseph DeStefano for another term in office. The committee also backed Common Council President Miguel Rodrigues for re-election.

The committee also endorsed incumbent First Ward Alderman Joseph Masi, who had changed his enrollment from Republican to Democrat last year.

Also backed for re-election were Gerald “Jerry” Kleiner and Andrew Green, both incumbents in the Second Ward; Kathleen Ramkissoon and Paul Johnson, incumbents in the Third Ward; and Jude Jean-Francois and Sparrow Tobin, incumbents, for Fourth Ward alderman.

Republicans have not yet made their candidate announcements.
