Two men wanted in the shooting of Poughkeepsie man

POUGHKEEPSIE – Police have arrest warrants out for two men wanted for attempted murder in connection with the shooting of a 22-year-old Poughkeepsie man at 120 Hudson Garden Apartments near building 4 at mid-morning on May 7.

The victim, who was shot several times, underwent surgeries for his wounds.

An investigation by Poughkeepsie City Police has determined that Michael “Flyboy” Johnson, 29, of Poughkeepsie, and Terrell “Ace” Watkins, formerly of Queens, were responsible for the shooting.

It is believed they both fled to one of the Carolinas. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Johnson and Watkins or has information about the shooting is asked to call Poughkeepsie City Police at 845-451-7577.
