Hang glider goes down in Wallkill

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police continue to investigate a hang glider accident that occurred late Saturday afternoon in the rear of 1 Meadow View Drive in the Town of Wallkill.

Police said a 66-year-old Brooklyn man and 54-year-old Cambridge, New York man were involved in the accident. Both were evaluated and refused medical attention.

Wallkill Public Works Department, Mechanicstown Fire Department and the FAA also assisted.
