Teen charged with making threats against Brewster High School

CARMEL – A 16-year-old
Brewster High School student was arrested on Wednesday, December 19 for
allegedly making threats against the school.

On December 18, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office responded to
the home of the student who allegedly made the threats o0n social media
accounts.

Deputies conducted a security check of the student’s home and another
one he frequented.

After an investigation, the youth was arrested and released to the custody
of his father.

The sheriff’s office is working with federal and state law enforcement
to investigate the matter.
