ALBANY – A Cairo, New York man pled guilty in Albany federal court to illegally possessing a .22 caliber revolver as a felon.
As part of his plea, Michael Greenholtz, 25, admitted that on July 31, 2018, he sold a .22 caliber revolver to another person in Albany. Two prior felony state convictions for burglary prevented him from legally possessing the firearm in New York.
Greenholtz faces up to 10 years in prison and post-release supervision of up to three years when sentenced in April.
