Community icon Frederica Warner celebrates 101st birthday

NEWBURGH – Frederica Warner, the founder and executive director
emeritus OF Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh, is celebrating her 101st
birthday today (Friday).

Since its founding in 1972, Newburgh Meals on Wheels has been one of the
region’s most successful community-based organizations.

Its volunteers prepare and deliver fresh, hot, nutritious meals to homebound
individuals in need.
