Two charged with felony drug possession in Rockland

NYACK – Two Rockland County residents were arrested last Saturday after one of them walked into Nyack Hospital with a stab wound.
Carl Mason, 29, of Sparkill was accompanied by a friend, Denise Christensen, 53, of Pearl River, who drove her car to the hospital. That vehicle contained a felony amount of cocaine.
As a result, Christensen was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail.  Mason was charged with two counts of drug possession and remained in Nyack Hospital in protective custody.
