Rockland measles count continues to escalate

NEW CITY – The number
of confirmed cases of measles in Rockland County is now up to 91 as well
as eight suspected cases under investigation.

Late last week, the number of confirmed cases was 88.

The county health department is holding a free measles vaccine clinic
at the Palisades Center Mall on Tuesday, December 11 from 3 p.m. to 6
p.m. The clinic will be held indoors near the Bed, Bath & Beyond store
on the first floor in the West Court of the mall, closest to parking lot
A.

During the clinic, the health department will be offering non-immune individuals
who are six months of age and older one dose of MMR vaccine at no cost.
