TOWN OF WOODBURY – Two men were arrested while traveling on the
Thruway in the Town of Woodbury early in the evening hours of December
3, both charged with drug possession.
Their vehicle was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation and a probable
cause search revealed some 553 grams of cocaine and less than 25 grams
of marijuana.
Jonathan Alvarez Cruz, 33, of Long Beach, NY and Alexander Colon Ortiz,
47, of San Juan, Puerto Rico were each charged with two counts of felony
drug possession including one with intent to sell as well as a violation
for unlawful possession of marjijuana.
