GOSHEN – Three men who are alleged members of the Coke Wave street
gang in Middletown were sentenced by Orange County Court Judge William
DeProspo to state prison in connection with the August 17, 2017 shooting
death of Coree White in the City of Middletown.

Tramel Morman, also known as “Biggs” and “Splash,”
25, of Middletown, had pled guilty to murder and was sentenced to 18 years
in state prison.

Juwan Dolson, also known as “La Capone” and “Wanny,”
25, of Middletown, pled guilty to attempted murder, and was sentenced
to 10 years in state prison and five years of post-release supervision.

Isaya Dolson, also known as “Dolo,” 23, of Middletown, pled
to conspiracy for conspiring with Morman and Juwan Dolson, was sentenced
to three to nine years in prison.

The indictment alleged the three men and others were members of Coke Wave,
a gang that sold narcotics, illegally possessed firearms, and committed
violent acts against rival gangs, including Guap Gang, and that White
was shot and killed as part of Coke Wave members’ conspiracy to
sell drugs.

During the investigation into the death of White, federal, state and local
law enforcement began an investigation into whether Coke Wave was trafficking
drugs in the Linden Avenue area of Middletown and using force and intimidation
to keep rival groups from selling narcotics in that area.

On August 21, 2018, law enforcement announced that 13 people alleged to
be members or associates of Coke Wave had been arrested and charged with
crimes ranging from murder to narcotics sales to conspiracy in an investigation
dubbed “Operation Wipeout.”
