Car hits house, driver charged with DWI

CHESTNUT RIDGE – Ramapo Police responded to a report of a car into a house on Eastbourne Dr in the Village of Chestnut Ridge Thursday night.
The male operator of the vehicle, a Chestnut Ridge resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. He is currently being held in the Town of Ramapo Police lock up pending arraignment.  Police did not release his name.
