Man charged with pushing woman down stairs

YORKTOWN – A 48-year-old Yorktown man was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault following a domestic dispute.
Yorktown Police responded to a report of a domestic incident shortly after 3 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7.
Officers responded and conducted an investigation that revealed that the man, whose name they did not release, pushed a female victim down a flight of steps, causing the victim to strike her head and sustain a laceration to her head.
The defendant was arrested at the scene.
