TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police
were faced with a hostage situation at a residence at 327 East Main Street
in the Town of Wallkill Sunday night.
The call came in just after 9 p.m. with a report of a domestic situation
that turned into the incident in which seven people were reported being
held at gunpoint.
About an hour later, State Police spokesman Trooper Steven Nevel said
a subject was in custody and there were no injuries to hostages or law
enforcement.
