Poughkeepsie shooting victim dies

POUGHKEEPSIE – A man who was shot in the City of Poughkeepsie early Monday morning has died.
Jaquain Johnson, 20, was taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. City Police said he died Tuesday afternoon. An autopsy conducted by the Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s Office determined he died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Johnson was found wounded and lying in the middle of the westbound lanes on the arterial highway.
