POUGHKEEPSIE – An interfaith solidarity vigil will be held at 6 p.m. today at Temple Beth-El at 118 South Grand Avenue in Poughkeepsie to honor those killed in the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh last Saturday.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Dutchess County and Dutchess County Interfaith Council. Residents are invited to join in fellowship, in prayer and in hope for a better, safer and more compassionate community and nation.
Speakers will include clergy, Poughkeepsie Mayor Robert Rolison and Dutchess County Sheriff Adrian Anderson.
