TOWN OF ULSTER – An Olivebridge man was seriously injured as he was walking in the parking lot of the Walmart store in the Town of Ulster at about 2 p.m. on Friday, October 26.
Town Police said Noah Stolar, 18, of High Falls was driving an SUV in the parking lot when he struck David Chandler, 65, who was walking in the lot.
Chandler was treated at the scene by members of Ulster Hose and Mobile Life Support Services and later flown to Albany Medical Center.
Stolar was not injured. No tickets were issued but the accident remains under investigation.
Ulster Police were assisted by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and State Police.
