Two arrested in unrelated road rage incidents

NORTH CASTLE – State Police arrested two people on October 4 in separate and unrelated road rage incident on I-684 in the New Castle area.
Luca Racanelli, 42, of Carmel was charged with reckless endangerment and harassment for throwing a quarter-inch socket wrench at another driver. The victim was struck in the face and sustained minor injuries in the 3:10 p.m. incident.
About five minutes later, on the same highway, Monica Parker, 57, of Lewisboro was arrested and charged with criminal mischief for allegedly throwing a metal object at the vehicle of another driver. The vehicle was struck and the windshield was damaged.
Racanelli and Parker were issued appearance tickets to North Castle Town Court.
