CATSKILL – The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Athens woman on two counts of failing to provide proper sustenance in violation to state Agriculture and Markets law.
The charges against Tiana Wagar, 26, filed on October 6, relate to an ongoing investigation of three pit bulls that were left at a residence on McGovern Road in the Town of Athens during an eviction.
Wagar was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Athens Court.
The animals are in the custody of the Columbia Greene Humane Society.
