Woman injured in fall at train station

SALISBURY MILLS – A 22-year-old woman sustained injuries when she
fell down a 15-foot embankment near the train trestle in Salisbury Mills
early Friday morning, Cornwall Police said.
The woman, whose name was not immediately available, was taken by ambulance
to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Train traffic was stopped in the area while the woman was being rescued.

The woman may have been consuming alcoholic beverages prior to her fall,
police said.
