WAWARSING – State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in
locating Joshua Stuart, who fired a gun outside Ellenville Regional Hospital
on Friday morning and then fled the scene.
Investigators are asking residents in and around the Ellenville/Wawarsing
area to check trail cameras and residential surveillance to see if anyone
matching Stuart’s description has been photographed.
Hikers are urged to stay away from trails in the area as he is considered
armed and extremely dangerous.
If he is spotted or viewed on surveillance, people are urged to call
the State Police at 845-344-5300.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Stuart fled the scene in a vehicle that was located unoccupied on Lundy Lane in Napanoch.
