GOSHEN – Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation and Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress have formed a strategic partnership to assist in the attraction, retention and expansion of businesses in the region.
HVEDC is a regional economic development agency and Pattern is the regional public policy and think tank organization.
Pattern will assist HVEDC with market research by helping to identify economic development trends, including workforce challenges brought about by population decline, education and training gaps in the market and the impact of housing with workforce retention and recruitment.
Both groups will also develop strategies to revitalize distressed communities to bring jobs and investment.
