Former TV producer sentenced to five years sex offender probation for spying on nanny in bathroom

WHITE PLAINS – A former television director from Pleasantville was sentenced by Westchester County Court Judge Susan Cacace to five years of sex offender probation and he will have to register as sex offender.
Daniel Switzen, 45, was charged with felony unlawful surveillance for
spying on the family’s nanny in the bathroom. He pled guilty to
placing a camera hidden by a tissue box in a bathroom inside his home.
The victim, a teenage nanny employed by the family, discovered it.
Switzen admitted to placing the camera there to capture the victim and
her friends on video.
He was arrested in November 2017.
