ALBANY – Town of Chester Supervisor Alex Jamieson pled guilty in
Albany County Court on Tuesday, admitting that he collected $5,695 in
state unemployment benefits while working. Jamieson pled guilty to two
counts of offering a false instrument for filing, will serve no jail time
and will have to resign from his town job.
He must make full restitution by the time he is sentenced in November.
Jamieson was initially charged with one count of grand larceny and 22 counts of offering a false instrument for filing.
