New Horizons employee charged with welfare endangerment

PLATTEKILL – State Police have charged a Poughkeepsie man with
endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disable person
and criminal obstruction of breathing, both as misdemeanors.

Jamey Lord, who was employed at the New Horizons facility in Plattekill,
was arrested following an investigation into a complaint.

He was released pending a future court appearance in Plattekill Town Court.

State Police at Highland were assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney’s
Office and New York State Justice Center.
