Road empties into Rt. 211

TOWN OF WALLKILL – If you drive Route 211 in the busy shopping
center district of the Town of Wallkill, you may see those orange signs
announcing road construction work.
That is because over three miles of the state-owned road, between Goshen Turnpike and the Middletown city line will be repaved.
There is no need to worry about traffic backups though. The work is scheduled between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. It is expected to start this Sunday, September 23 and projected to last through November 30.
The work will include milling the roadway, resurfacing, traffic loops and pavement markings.
Sullivan County Paving & Construction, Inc. will be performing the work.
