COPAKE – A Copake man has been charged with felony rape and endangering the welfare of a child for having an intimate relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
Marvin Morales, 21, was arrested on Thursday, September 20 following an investigation conducted by State Police at Livingston and the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center.
The investigation determined Morales and the child knew one another and began an intimate relationship earlier this year resulting in sexual contact.
Morales was sent to the Columbia County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
